We bought this house

This was your typical builder spec house in a nice neighborhood with a 1/2 acre lot. The House needed a lot of work to make it "ours" but it had great bones, a good floor plan layout, perfect yard orientation and the detached garage of Rob's dreams

We got Married!

Food Forest planning was in the works but we had a big wedding and moving 2 households into 1 that took up a lot of our first months in this house

01/2013

First trees planted!

I volunteered at the last bare root fruit tree sale held by the Valley Permaculture Alliance (formerly the Phoenix Permaculture Guild) and I brought home about a dozen trees to get my food forest started!

11/2014

Tour stop on the Tour de Coops

Our yard was a stop on the Tour de Coops and we had 400 people come through the yard in 1 day to see our chicken coop!
